Tootsie Pop: Pop of Flavor

Tootsie Pops are lolly pops that have a chocolate tootsie roll on the inside. I really enjoy Tootsie pops and love the chocolate inside.
When I was eating the Tootsie pop, i couldn't help but think of the old commercials with the owl trying to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll. Its candy like this that i love to eat. It takes me back to my childhood which is another reason I love them so much.
The hard candy shell has the perfect taste and once you get to the center, its a chocoloate treat.
I give the Tootsie Pop a 5 out of 5. I love the little pop of flavor you get from the hard candy outside and the tootsie roll inside.

Peanut Chews: Crunchy Goodness

Peanut Chews are a delicious combo of peanuts covered in a layer of chocolatey goodness. This is one of my favorite combinations for a chocolate bar. The bar is not too chewy and has a good mix of chocolate and the peanut inside.
The mix of chocolate and peanuts has a perfect taste between the saltiness in the peanuts and the sweetness from the chocolate. Not only does it have the saltiness and sweetness, the candy bar tastes wonderful. I would reccomend this chocolate bar to anyone that likes peanuts or chocolate. You cannot go wrong with such a wonderful combination.
i give the Peanut Chews a 5 out of 5! It is a perfect combination and love it.

Bubblicious: Bubble No No

Bubblicious bubble gum is a gum that i always use to crave when i was younger. it always had the best and inventive flavors. However, my mom was always against me chewing because she said it was bad for my teeth (hence my pen name). When i saw the bubblicious gum, i knew i had to test it one last time.
When i tried Bubblicious gum today, i realized how much my taste has changed. The gum was extremely sour and lost flavor after a few seconds. i was very displeased and the size of the gum was too small for my mouth now. i cannot imagine the gum fitting a child's mouth. This gum is not mean't as for a breath mint. i did not find this gum enjoyable at all.
i give this gum a 2 out of 5. The fun flavors are enjoyable, however, the piece was too big and the flavor didn't last.

York Peppermint Patty's: Breath's Best Friend

York Peppermint Patty’s are a chocolate covered peppermint inside candy. The patty is soft and chewy and gives a refreshing feeling after you eat it. I have always been a fan of the patties but I after trying it again, I realized that the peppermint patty can only be eating in small amounts.
I like how the patty gives my breath a refreshing feeling and smell. However, that is the reason that the patty’s can be overpowering. The mint inside is delicious but only in small amounts.
I give York Peppermint Patty a 4 out of 5. Just remember to only eat a little at a time and enjoy.

Skittles: Taste the Rainbow

Skittles have been a popular candy for a while now. I have already reviewed Skittles Sour but I knew that i had to review the original. These colorful little bite size treats have been one of my favorite candies since I was a kid.
Skittles have a hard shelled outside and a chewy sweet inside. The candy is very good and a burst of flavor in every little bite. I cannot help but eat the whole bag whenever i buy the candy.
My only problem with skittles is when they melt in my hand. I can't eat them fast enough. :) I enjoy all the colors and flavors of the original Skittles. I would recommend them to anyone.

I give original Skittles a 5 out 5. Everyone deserves to taste the rainbow!

Starburst: Burst of Flavor

Starburst are a favorite candy among most people. i didn't want to try the original starburst treats but wanted to try something different. i am going to review Starburst GummiBurst a liquid filled gummy. i do enjoy the texture of gummy candy and looked forward to testing these.
The candy was a bit of a let down it didnt have the same flavor that Starburst candies do have. The flavor was really good but not what i was expecting. The inside burst of flavor did add a wonderful splash of flavor to a gummy candy. i thought this was a good candy but wish it did have a little more familiarity with the popular Starburst flavor.
i give Starburst GummiBurst a 4 out 5. A wonderful treat from the Starburst franchise!

Laffy Taffy: Tickles to Tooth

themLaffy Taffy is a tasty little piece of candy that many children love. I use to love when I was younger too. However, when I tried the cherry Laffy Taffy, it wasn't as good as it used to be to me. As I mentioned before in previous blogs, candy that gets stuck in teeth is not my favorite.The flavor of the candy wasn't too bad and I could eat it again. However, when I amdone with candy I want to be done with it not stuck sitting there with a toothpick trying to get the candy out of my teeth. But, I loved the little jokes on the outside wrapper. Even as a so called adult, I giggled when I was reading the joke. It is something that everyone of any age would enjoy. Now I understand why the name is called Laffy Taffy because on the inside it is sticky and on the outside it makes the eater giggle.
I give Laffy Taffy a 3 out 5 it was a joyous candy meant for children but enjoyed by adults.
